The breath of God in us
Heart Breath
With every breath you create life: you receive and you give. Inhale, pause, exhale, pause. Calm rather than arousal.
Breathe with the light. Four seconds for each phase.
Four seasons in one breath
Inhale
Receiving
Spring, morning. You take life in.
Pause
Giving meaning
Summer, noon. Intention and attention.
Exhale
Giving
Autumn, evening. Inwards to the body, or out into the world as creative influence.
Pause
Silence
Winter, night. A new inhale is born from it.
Stop for a moment
Breathe in and pause. Breathe out and pause. You can set the length of each “season” within you yourself.
Conscious breathing works like a pilot steering your hormonal balance. Caring for oxygen and carbon dioxide is the foundation of deep contact with your body. Attention and consciously given meaning lead you to discover that you are more than a physical body.
I have practised Buteyko, Wim Hof, holotropic and Merkaba breathing, various kriyas and more. My own path grew out of them: a breath that calms rather than stimulates.

Heart Breath audio course
Guided four-phase breathing practices to listen to at home, on a walk, before sleep. I will let my groups know as soon as it is ready.
“The breath connects the physical with the spirit, by allowing yourself the awareness of choosing.”
